Employment Resources

It is the goal of Jeremiah’s Hope Academy to prepare the students to be the most qualified, desired and actively sought candidates for employment in Central Alabama. Upon graduation and successfully completing national certification examinations, graduates will be qualified to seek employment in any health care facility, company, or institution.

When students have successfully completed their program of study, every effort is made to connect graduates with potential employers seeking qualified candidates for employment in their company.

The Academy Employment and Resource Specialist actively assists the students in their job search, and provides frequent updates regarding job postings, application information and job requirements.

As part of the curriculum for the regular program students, instruction in job search methods, resume writing and interview skills is included in coursework.

Students and graduates seeking to be employed at one of the St. Vincent’s Health System facilities (St. Vincent’s Birmingham, St. Vincent’s East, St. Vincent’s Blount, St. Vincent’s St. Clair, St. Vincent’s Chilton, and St. Vincent’s One Nineteen) can search postings of job openings on the health system website at:

The students at Jeremiah’s Hope Academy are not employees of the St. Vincent’s Health System, and the Academy, in compliance with state school regulations, does not guarantee job placement for graduates or alumni.
